Collective Bargaining

On February 4, 2025, the MEA Representative Assembly voted unanimously to begin our collective bargaining campaign! It's the first step needed to get a seat at the table! With collective bargaining, we can negotiate for: higher pay and fair salary steps, better healthcare benefits, standardized work hours and overtime pay, job descriptions that limit the type and number of tasks you can be assigned, and more!
